Questions That Remain After an Explosion: Iran’s 2025 Field-Verification Gap
The IAEA’s record of interrupted inspections after attacks distinguishes observing a strike from verifying nuclear activities.

A field-access gap in the official record
The IAEA report dated 2025-09-03 records suspended field verification after attacks began on 2025-06-13, and a decision to withdraw inspectors by month-end for safety. At the reporting date, access to safeguarded facilities except the Bushehr plant remained unavailable, with monitoring through satellite imagery and open sources.
Attack, facility damage and verification are different questions
An attack, damage, nuclear-material accounting and long-term capability changes are not interchangeable judgments. Interrupted access proves neither complete elimination nor absence of damage. Ask who verified what and how, rather than rely on a reported weapon name or explosion footage.
Not evidence for the current video’s contemplated strike
This is a historical verification-interruption record. It does not confirm the video’s MOAB consideration report, actual orders or attacks, present nuclear capabilities or political motives. This source alone also does not establish an end date for the verification gap.
