ASSETCASTING commentary

An interpretation of the fictional story, not a statement by the original video creator.

To read changes in a flower shop's revenue, first separate selling prices from quantities sold, then compare changes in material and fixed costs. Revenue can rise after a price increase while profit falls if costs rise faster. The shop's profit and the amount of necessities that profit can buy are also different concepts. A larger nominal amount alone does not establish an improvement in business conditions or living standards.
